Vancouver Sun United Way Day of Caring
What is the Vancouver Sun United Way Day of Caring?
The Vancouver Sun United Way Day of Caring brings United Way donors and funded agencies together to complete one-day projects. Day of Caring connects donors to meaningful projects where they can see and learn first-hand the impact of their gift on children, families and seniors in the community.
How does it work?
United Way matches an agency project with a donor team. Projects can be a half or full-day in length and can include 5 - 10 donors. Day of Caring will take place across the Lower Mainland during National Volunteer Week (April 22 - 26) and in June and October 2013.
Who can participate?
United Way Top Contributors (formerly known as Walk of Fame organizations) and United Way funded social service agencies are invited annually by United Way to participate in the program.
