The last Wednesday of February is known as Anti-Bullying Day in Canada. It's also known as "Pink Shirt Day". On this day participants are asked to wear pink to symbolize a stand against bullying.

BC Ministry of Health to give $15 million to United Way of the Lower Mainland to expand non-medical home support programs

BC Ministry of Health announced a $15 million grant to United Way of the Lower Mainland to expand the non-medical home support programs. This was part of a larger announcement of government’s action plan to address seniors’ issues. The action plan will support healthy aging to improve the quality of life for BC seniors to help them remain independent for as long as possible.
